Warranty Statement
At Envirotech, we stand behind the quality and durability of every product we deliver. This warranty document outlines our commitment to you. If any Envirotech product fails to meet our quality standards due to a defect in material or workmanship, we will swiftly investigate and resolve the issue during the applicable warranty period.
This warranty applies to all products sold by Envirotech Office Systems, Inc. (“Envirotech”), 7345 East Danbro Crescent Unit B, Mississauga, ON L5N 6P8, Canada, as described in the product categories below.
Section 1: Envirotech Workstations
Our workstation products are built using a blend of new and premium recycled components and include our panel-based systems, benching systems, and storage solutions.
The following warranty periods apply:

Section 2: Renewed+
Renewed+ task chairs are professionally restored from leading manufacturers including Haworth, Steelcase, Humanscale and Herman Miller. These products are designed to meet original performance standards.

- Arm caps (including gel, polyurethane, and hard plastic arm pads)
- Mesh seat or back surfaces (including elastomeric and woven mesh)
- Upholstery fabric wear, pilling, or fading (see General Exclusions)

Section 4: Renewed
Envirotech Renewed Products are second-life items that have been inspected, cleaned, refreshed and tested for functionality. These products are sold in good working condition with the following warranty:

Section 5: Other Manufacturers’ Products
Envirotech does not warrant products manufactured by other companies. However, Envirotech will pass through to the original purchaser any warranty provided by the original manufacturer, to the extent such warranty is available and transferable. Envirotech will assist in facilitating warranty claims with the original manufacturer where possible.
Section 6: General Warranty Terms
Warranty Remedy: During the applicable warranty period, Envirotech will, at its sole discretion, repair or replace any covered product, part, or component that fails under normal use as a result of a defect in material or workmanship. Replacement parts or products may be new or remanufactured and will be of comparable quality and functionality. Replacement casters or arm caps will be provided and shipped to the customer at no cost; however, this warranty does not include on-site installation. Simple instructions will be provided so the customer can complete the replacement themselves.
Definition of “Lifetime” Warranty: Where a “Lifetime” warranty period is specified, Envirotech will, at no cost to the original purchaser and for as long as they own the Envirotech product, repair or replace any covered product, part, or component that fails due to a defect in design, materials, or workmanship. The Lifetime warranty applies exclusively to the original purchaser and is not transferable.
Definition of “Normal Use”: Throughout this warranty, “normal use” means use in a standard commercial office environment operating a single shift (up to 8 hours per day, 5 days per week), within a climate-controlled space maintained between 65°F–80°F (18°C–27°C) and 20%–60% relative humidity. Use exceeding these conditions, including but not limited to multi-shift, 24/7, or industrial applications, is not considered normal use and is not covered under this warranty.
Remedy Limitation for Envirotech Renewed Products: For products covered under Section 4 (Envirotech Renewed Products), the total value of warranty repair or replacement shall not exceed the original purchase price paid by the purchaser for the affected product.
Warranty Eligibility
- This warranty extends only to the original purchaser who acquires the product directly from Envirotech or an authorized Envirotech dealer.
- Products must be installed by Envirotech or an Envirotech-approved installer. Any damage resulting from installation by parties not approved by Envirotech, including but not limited to improper assembly of connectors, brackets, panels, or glass components, is expressly excluded from warranty coverage.
- Products must be used in accordance with the definition of “normal use” stated in this warranty and maintained in accordance with Envirotech’s care and maintenance guidelines.
- The warranty period begins on the date of installation.
- This warranty is non-transferable.
What Voids This Warranty
- Misuse, abuse, neglect, or accidental damage to the product.
- Unauthorized modification, alteration, or repair of the product.
- Installation by parties not approved by Envirotech.
- Failure to follow Envirotech’s care and maintenance instructions.
- Exposure to extreme environmental conditions or improper storage.
Section 7: General Exclusions
This warranty does not cover the following, regardless of product category:
- Normal wear and tear from everyday use.
- Damage occurring during transportation not arranged by Envirotech.
- Acts of God, fire, flood, or other events beyond Envirotech’s control.
- Natural variations in wood grain, figure, or the presence of character marks.
- Changes in surface finishes, including colorfastness, due to aging or exposure to light or direct sunlight.
- Marks, scars, or wrinkles occurring naturally in leather.
- Veins, marks, voids, fissures, or cracks found naturally in stone.
- Pilling of textiles or matching of colors, grains, or textures of natural materials.
- Colorfastness or exact color matching of textiles, surface finishes, cuttings, samples, or swatch cards.
- Damage, marking, or staining of veneer surfaces due to contact with rubber or similar compounds, sharp objects, or writing instruments.
- Changes in the decibel level of motors or mechanisms in height-adjustable products.
- Damage or abrading of materials caused by sharp or foreign objects over time.
- Discoloration of textiles and surfaces due to soiling, stains, or dye transfer from clothing (including denim).
- Damage, wear, or scratching from glides, casters, or other contact components on flooring or surfaces.
- Damage to casters or glides caused by use on hard flooring surfaces (concrete, hardwood, tile, etc.) without appropriate floor protection such as chair mats.
- Glass breakage or cracking resulting from impact, improper handling, or installation by parties not approved by Envirotech.
- Products used outside the definition of “normal use” as defined in this warranty, including multi-shift, 24/7, or industrial applications.
- Products used or stored in environments outside the specified climate conditions (65°F–80°F / 18°C–27°C, 20%–60% relative humidity).
Customer’s Own Material (COM): Envirotech tests COM and other customer-supplied items for manufacturing quality only. Envirotech does not provide any warranty with regard to customer-supplied materials, including but not limited to fabric performance, colorfastness, or durability.
Section 8: Limitation of Liability
This document describes all warranties and remedies available with respect to Envirotech’s products and services. Envirotech disclaims any other warranty, whether express or implied, statutory or otherwise, in relation to its products.
TO THE EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING ANY WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE DISCLAIMED AND, TO THE EXTENT THEY ARE LEGALLY REQUIRED, ARE LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE DURATION OF THIS WRITTEN WARRANTY.
ENVIROTECH SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR LOSS OF TIME, INCONVENIENCE, COMMERCIAL LOSS, OR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM THE USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE ANY ENVIROTECH PRODUCT, REGARDLESS OF WHETHER SUCH DAMAGES ARE BASED ON WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT, OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY.
