We took that problem to Justin Beitzel and Fernando Ramirez at Common Object Studio. The brief was simple — design something desirable. Something you'd spec on its own merit. Then reveal where it came from.
The result is Continuum. The first modular lounge system manufactured from recovered commercial work surfaces, connected by Kvadrat's Textile Tabletop — engineered from textile waste. The surfaces of the past sitting alongside the surface of the future.
The input is the output of the industry that created the problem.
