Standing or Sitting: Both have Health Risks
Different occupations have different ergonomic challenges will they are at work. Some people are on their feet all day, and others sit. Either way, if you are in the same position for any length of time, this puts your health at risk. If you are in an office environment where you are sitting at your desk all day, you should make sure your desk is set up in a comfortable and natural position while doing your tasks. You also need to make sure you have an ergonomically designed office chair so your feet are comfortably positioned on the floor, your monitor is set up so you are looking straight ahead, and your back is in an upright position.
