Workplace Consultant

Envirotech Office Systems is Canada’s leading remanufacturer of Office Furnishings. We offer cost effective solutions, short lead times, sustainability and a one stop shop for the entire office.

We are GROWING – and need additional Workplace Consultants (Sales Representatives). Join an exciting and dynamic Team that is poised to reposition itself in the contract furniture marketplace. Working within a very focused and efficient sales team, reporting to the President your primary goal will be to grow an existing account base as well as mine “dormant accounts”. You will be responsible for working with clients to identify sales opportunities and provide quotations and details to close sales. This is not a “Hunter” role – however, approximately 20% of your time will include business development activities (mining low hanging fruit, uncovering Net New Opportunities).

Job description will be as follows:

  • As a Workplace Consultant you will grow Envirotech’s client base via both growing business from within as well as identification of new project opportunities.
  • Drive sales through product knowledge, customer service and problem solving.
  • Attending client meeting to discover and understand client needs.
  • Attending off site client meetings to review site conditions, take measurements, inventory of existing product and discuss project details.
  • Preparing accurate quotes and complete orders to include product specification, quantities, discounts, pricing, and other misc. service instruction and/or direction.
  • Managing and tracking all work projects delegated, establishing acceptable time lines per project with the President and ensure completion of work on time.
  • Communicating client/market expectations to President to better enhance product and service offered through Envirotech and/or it’s outsource companies.
  • Insuring client satisfaction throughout ALL phases of the sales and post-sale process, and initiating action to meet and enhance the clients’ needs and expectations.
  • Maintaining and improving long term loyal relationships with new and existing client bases.
  • Maintain and grow relationships with our Vendor Partners (manufacturers of office furniture and related products).
  • Maintain and grow relationships with our Stakeholders (A & D community, brokers, Project Management Firms, Construction Firms)
  • Attend industry Networking Events (IFMA, CoreNet, ARIDO etc).
  • Drive sales through product knowledge, customer service and problem solving.
  • Updating contact management software (ZOHO) including sales forecasts on a daily basis.
  • Meet / Exceed monthly/quarterly targets as assigned by the President

Remuneration Package is based on a base salary with commissions earned based on sales closed. Expenses will be paid for Auto, phone and entertainment.
